Work Process
Understand
I began by reducing the product to one decision: can a pull request move safely without waiting for a person? Routine changes can be approved automatically, while breaking, sensitive, or protected work stays with a reviewer.
Frame
The story became five beats — ask, show, check, split, and focus. That sequence moves from a familiar question into the GitHub pull-request surface, then reveals the review gates and their outcome.
Explore
References pointed toward simple layouts, legible product shots, restrained motion, and a cool violet-to-mint palette. Glass UI gives the decision flow depth without competing with the information.
Iterate
Three storyboard rounds tested how much product detail to show, how quickly to introduce the checks, and where to place the low-risk versus protected-change split.
Animate
Scale, light, blur, and precise transitions make the automation feel immediate. The motion keeps one idea on screen at a time so the logic stays readable at speed.
Finish
The final pass tightened pacing, added audio, and polished the handoff from automated checks to human judgment. The film closes on the product benefit: a lighter queue and a sharper focus.
